Hometown: Northern Beaches of Sydney

Age: 30

Growing up with his Dad working in the Film Industry, Ian always had a fascination with cameras from a very young age and at the age of 19 he was offered a full-time job assisting one of Australia's most respected photographers. At that point in time Ian had no experience in the photography world and took this opportunity with both hands. In the next five years he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge about not only the art of taking photos, but how to run a successful business.

In March 2009, Ian decided to create his own business and moved into the freelance world. Since then, he has become an accomplished photographer in his own right and has worked with clients such as Cunard, Cricket Australia, Sydney Airport, Destination NSW, Sydney Opera House, Bridgeclimb as well as supplying images to one of the worlds leading photographic press agencies on a regular basis, Rex Features UK.
